These glass shower enclosures feature Stayclear® protection.
Stayclear is an effective protection for easy-to-clean glass. It resists stains, keeps the environment hygienic and keeps glass cleaner longer than unprotected glass. It is specially designed for use on glass and ceramics, but is equally effective on most metal and plastic surfaces.
Stayclear glass needs to be cleaned half as often as ordinary glass. We recommend that you reduce your cleaning frequency by half, and then increase or decrease as required. To optimize the performance and durability of the protection, we recommend the following maintenance program:
- Rinse off soap and water deposits regularly, drying the surface with a squeegee or cloth if necessary.
- Clean the glass walls weekly (depending on use and water hardness).
- Clean glass walls with a non-abrasive cleaner, rinse thoroughly with water and wipe dry with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
Do not use abrasive products, strong or concentrated acids, alkalis, chlorine or other abrasive cleaning agents, as they may discolor or damage the product and void any warranty.
Do not place cigarettes or naked flames on or near Larenco walls.
Note: The durability of Stayclear® protection may be affected by the frequency of shower use, water hardness and the type of cleaning products and processes used. These conditions are beyond the manufacturer's control.
Only use AKW enclosures with AKW shower trays. We have designed and manufactured these products to complement each other. If you use them with non-AKW products, the integrity of the watertight seal between the shower base and enclosures may be affected.
